To be able to post classifieds, you must be a member - and there is no charge
to be a member. Membership only means that your information will be on file, and
you will have access to add/change/delete your ads. For membership: Please type in a user name, and enter in a password that you create. When filling
out the membership information, we want to make you aware that your street address
WILL NOT be posted on your ad or when membership information is viewed at the bottom
of each ad - we will, however, post your Name, City, State, email address, and
telephone number so interested buyers can contact you. The Horse Gazette will not
sell or provide information provided by our members to any third party.
The Gazette may, from time to time, send out to members a newsletter advising them of
changes or other information we feel will be of use to them.
Classifieds: There is no cost for text only ads. The cost for photo classifieds is $5.00 for
4 weeks, and the photo classifieds will be listed before the text only ads when
listed on this site. Ads in the classified section may run for up to 90 days if
desired at no extra cost. You may change your ad, change the picture, or remove your ad
anytime you wish while the ad is current.
Stallions: There are no text only ads in the stallion section. All ads placed in the stallion section
should be accompanied with up to 3 pictures and a pedigree. The cost for an ad in the
stallion section is $30 and it will run for 90 days.
Pictures: Pictures must be in JPG, GIF, or PNG format and sized to 40K or less. Optimum size
is 300 X 400 pixels. If your picture is to large it will not be displayed by the system.
You can resize the picture and attach it to your ad again at no charge or send it by email
to editor@horsegazette.com or webmaster@horsegazette.com and they will resize the picture
for you. The ad number must be included in the email as well as your user name. If you are
including a pedigree, it must be in Word format.
Pictures of the horses are the copyright of the horse owner. If you wish to use any
of the pictures from the classifieds, you must obtain permission from the owner of
the horse and/or the professional photographer. All photos and content of the
remainder of the website is copyrighted by The Horse Gazette.
