In a time where some businesses are struggling, Double Diamond Equestrian Center in the picturesque Texas hill country has flourished!

For over a decade, Double Diamond was one of the best kept secrets in the equine world. It's not a secret any longer because of a rare combination of savvy business practices, beautiful facilities, scenic rolling pastures, world class trainers, exceptional equine care and all on 180 manicured acres. In the past 2 years, Double Diamond has expanded the facility 4 times, and there is a waiting list for trainers to move in to Double Diamond; it is now one of the premier equestrian facilities in the nation.

Boarding at Double Diamond offers quality equine care, 3 covered arenas, 1 trail arena, jump and dressage arenas, a large indoor arena, 3 hot walkers, 4 round pens, pasture turnout and picturesque trails. The boarders have access to quality trainers, along with top notch seminars and clinics.

Double Diamond houses some the finest trainers available in the nation, from Dressage and Eventing to Western and English performance trainers, from Friesians to Quarter and Paint horses. The line-up and quality of trainers at Double Diamond is rarely found at one facility. There are instructors for beginners who are learning to ride all the way to professional equine investment advisors who are nationally known and recognized in their field. The trainer line-up:

Rachel Gray: Hunter, Jumper, Equitation - lessons, training and showing.
Ashley Hammell: Dressage - all breeds and all levels.
Diane Hanrahan: Dressage & Eventing - training, lessons and showing.
Leslie Johnson: Dressage - all breeds and all levels.
Scott Jones: AQHA/USEF Hunter and Equitation.
Patty Liarakos: Arabian & Half Arabian - lessons and showing.
Dale Livingston: AQHA training, showing, breeder, consultant and agent.
Dave Miller: AQHA/USEF Hunter and Equitation.
Cheryl Morency: Beginner Lessons and Summer Camps
Reid Thomas: AQHA & APHA - training, showing, lessons, all around.

"After an extensive market study, we decided to move Showstring from Connecticut to Boerne, Texas this past January," said Dave Miller. "Our customers from Boston and New York love coming to Double Diamond. The location is perfect, scenery gorgeous, and everything is all on one property."

Our trainers can dedicate their time to training

"Our trainers can dedicate their time to training, showing and expanding their business without the worry of maintaining their own barn or facility," said Melinda Livingston, Double Diamond Manager. "Trainers can go to events and they don't have to worry about the care of their horses, cleaning stalls or feeding, our staff takes care of everything."

Double Diamond is an established breeding facility with 90% embryo transfer success rate with 30 flushes in 2013 and 100% AI success rate. In 2013 Double Diamond stood high quality AQHA stallions such as On Holiday, Im A Platinum Dream, and Sparkin Playboy. Bobbie Livingston with Kaplow Equine Insurance and Eric Mendrysa of Emajes Equine Design & Photography are located at Double Diamond for the convenience of their trainers and boarders.

Double Diamond's Banquet Center and Observation room is available for everything from weddings to seminars with beautiful bar and full commercial kitchen.

To round out the offerings of Double Diamond, it is a versatile filming location. Jefferson Bank chose Double Diamond for their "Personal Boots" commercial along with a John Deere commercial. It's no wonder Double Diamond is not just surviving, but it's thriving and expanding; it truly is an all purpose one stop equestrian center just 10 minutes West of IH-10 in Boerne, Texas and less than 20 minutes from Loop 1604 in San Antonio.
